Pricing and Programs Analyst
Dallas, TX
JOB PURPOSE Pricing & Programs Analyst will assist in the execution and evaluation of the pricing programs to maximize market share and profitability. They will provide analytics on highly complex products. This position will work directly with the team to understand drivers and provide necessary reporting. DESIRED SKILLS * Support promotional programs flawless and timely execution * Monitor competitor pricing and generates price level comparisons and conducts complex profitability analysis * Performs financial analysis and compute modeling and applies it to an understanding of varying competitive strategies within the industry to make recommendations. * Assist in the execution of existing growth programs, the creation of customer and channel programs to ensure timely and accurate reporting payment * Maintain vendor spend, working with the finance and sales team to ensure programs are competitive, aligns with management * Maintain program evaluation documentation * Analytics: Looks for trends in data, uses dashboard and brand level KPIs to explain pricing program success or failure. * Assist Pricing Manager in oversees all pricing analysis to deliver quarterly pricing review insights and recommendations to pricing governance committee. * Build and utilize models to better understand full price discount structure by region and customer * Maintain Landscape Intelligence reporting: assess the program effectiveness and pricing levels compared to key competition using compliant retail price comparison and socialize using pricing waterfall * Address any other pricing operations ad hoc needs as necessary MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Very proficient in Microsoft Excel * Excellent math and analytical skills * Have strong organizational skills, be detailed-oriented, and have the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. * Strong work ethic with the ability to self-motivate with little supervision. * Outstanding Interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. * Team player and willing to adapt to new tasks and projects. * Creativity/innovative thinking, excellent research skills, and solution development is required in the job.
